Preston v Swansea
Preston collected just their second home win of the season via a last-minute winner against Middlesbrough at the weekend and are worth opposing when playoff hopefuls Swansea visit. The Swans have won seven of their last ten league matches and can take something from the trip to Deepdale.
Morecambe v Derby
Derby have a golden opportunity to move into the League One playoff places when they head to Morecambe, the team with the worst home record in League One this season. A return of one win from seven games at the Globe Arena is part of the reason why the Shrimps are 23rd and Derby should be able to build on Saturday’s emphatic 4-2 victory over Bristol Rovers.
Barrow v Colchester
Barrow and Colchester were both expected to be battling relegation from League Two this season and while that’s true for the rock-bottom U’s, the Cumbrians are instead sitting pretty in the playoff places. Only top two Stevenage and Leyton Orient have taken more points at home than Barrow and a long midweek trip north is the last thing a Colchester side who have lost six out of seven away games will want.
Napoli v Liverpool
Napoli have scored an impressive 20 goals in their five group stage games, including putting four past Liverpool in September’s reverse fixture, and going to Anfield should hold no fears for the Italians. Liverpool last failed to score at home in March, 16 games ago, and with little on the line in this game, the shackles could be taken off by both managers.
