Valencia v Athletic Bilbao 

Valencia have won just two of their six games in all competitions since the World Cup break, both against lower league opposition, and they may lose out to Athletic Bilbao who were victorious the last time these two met. 

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid have won four of the last six meetings between them and their rivals Atletico and they should be able to extend that good record after recovering from a slight wobble following the World Cup break, Atleti have won just two of their last four matches. 

Ajax v Volendam

Volendam have the worst defensive record in the Eredivisie and look vulnerable as they face an Ajax side that are the top scorers in the division. Take the hosts to overcome a goal deficit on the handicap.

Pacos Ferreira v Benfica

Pacos Ferreira have lost 13 of their 17 league games this season and currently occupy bottom spot in the Portuguese top flight, they are likely to struggle against table toppers Benfica who have won 14 of their 17 matches and should be too good.
