Football accumulator tips for Sunday September 11: Rennes kickstart 6-1 acca

Get on goals in the Italian capital

With the home nations postponing this weekend's matches as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the football focus falls on Europe.

There are top-flight matches scheduled in France, Germany, Italy and Spain and we have pieced together a fourfold to embrace the action.

All bets must be placed by 4.05pm on Sunday.

Racing Post football expert Aaron Ashley has picked:

Rennes to beat Auxerre

Both teams to score in Lazio v Verona

Real Sociedad to beat Getafe

Juventus to beat Salernitana

Rennes v Auxerre

Rennes have responded well to defeat in their opening home Ligue 1 game of the season by beating Ajaccio and Brest and they can follow up with victory over Auxerre. Fourth last season, Rennes are evidently capable of better and they appear to be finding their stride, while promoted Auxerre have suffered back-to-back defeats.

Lazio v Verona

These two played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Stadio Olimpico in May of last season and goals should be on the menu again. Both teams have scored in five of Lazio's six competitive games this term while the net has bulged at both ends in four of Verona's five Serie A clashes.

Getafe v Real Sociedad

While Getafe are struggling and have picked up just one point from four matches, Real Sociedad have taken seven and must be full of confidence after Thursday's 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford. The visitors have won their first two away games in La Liga at Cadiz and Elche and can follow up against a Getafe side who have already shipped 11 league goals.

Juventus v Salernitana

Juventus have made a mediocre start to the Serie A season, taking nine points from five games. However, three of those matches ended level and they remain unbeaten. They should be too strong for a Salernitana side who have won only four of their 21 away games since being promoted back to the top flight.
