FC Tobol to beat Jeunesse Esch 4.55pm

FC Tobol are in with a great chance of winning the Kazakh title for the first time since 2010 and can make a strong start to Europa League qualifying by winning their first round first leg clash away to Luxembourg outfit Jeunesse Esch. FC Tobol have won five of their last six away games and should be sharper than Jeunesse Esch, who do not begin their domestic campaign until August.

FC Sheriff to beat Saburtalo 6pm

FC Sheriff have not lost any of their last eight home European ties and should be too strong for Georgian side Saburtalo in their Champions League first qualifying round, first leg. There is not much competition for Sheriff in the poor quality Moldovan league but they have done reasonably well in Europe – reaching the Europa League group stage in 2017.

Dundalk to beat Riga 7.45pm

Dundalk are dominant in Ireland, leading second-placed Shamrock Rovers by eight points, and can make a strong start in Champions League qualifying by defeating FC Riga at Oriel Park. FC Riga have lost five matches in the poor quality Latvian league this season and may struggle to match Dundalk, who contested the Europa League group stage in 2016.
