Champions League third-qualifying round second leg
7.15pm Wednesday

It was men against Young Boys in Kiev last week and the Ukrainian powers can chalk up the double over their Swiss opponents to stroll into the Champions League playoff round.

Dynamo Kiev won the first leg 3-1 and could have added to that total, hitting the bar and being frequently thwarted by keeper David Von Ballmoos.

They cut Young Boys apart at the back and with the Swiss side having to go for broke to try to win the tie, expect the visitors to pick them off at will on the counter.

Dynamo, under new head coach Aleksandr Khatskevich, look a really decent outfit.

Aside from their win against Young Boys on home soil, they have won three out of three in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory at Shakhtar the pick of those results.

Dieumerci Mbokani, one-time Norwich and Hull loanee, is on fire as the front man in a trident also featuring classy Andrei Yarmolenko and Denys Garmash.

Teenage starlet Viktor Tsygankov, scorer of a hat-trick in Saturday’s 5-0 demolition of Karpaty Lviv, can get no further than the bench for the big games.

Young Boys have won their first two Super League games this season – one of which was 2-0 against Basel, the team who pipped them to the title last term.

And Adolf Hutter’s men are solid at the Wankdorf. But they look a liability at the back, while keeper Von Ballmoos and midfieldes Miralem Sulejmani and Sekou Sanogo are all carrying knocks.
