Fener fancied to ease to victory

There is unlikely to be much Christmas cheer as far as Trabzonspor are concerned when Fenerbahce roll into town.

Trab's record against Fener is abysmal and that’s unlikely to change in this clash.

The pair have met 31 times in all competitions with Trab winning on just three occasions and their last victory against these opponents was six years ago when they ran out 3-2 victors.

They haven't scored in this fixture since 2012 when they were on the receiving end of a 3-1 reversal on home soil.

And current form doesn't give much reason for Trazonspor hope either despite two wins in their last three outings.

Those victories came against basement boys Adanaspor and Kayserispor and Fenerbahce are a different kettle of fish.

Though not as formidable as they once were Fener will still harbour title aspirations despite having ground to make up on Turkish Super Lig leaders Istanbul Buyuk.

Three points from this game will be crucial and they should have little problem securing them but a better value bet looks to be backing them to win to nil at 12-5 with Paddy Power.

Fener haven't conceded in this fixture for ten matches and they won the corresponding game last season 4-0. They may not repeat that margin but an easy win is likely.
