FC Cincinnati v LA Galaxy: Major League Soccer betting preview, tip & TV details
Zlatan Ibrahimovic can cause problems for MLS minnows
Sky Sports Football/Main Event/Mix, 12.30am Saturday night
MLS expansion franchise Cincinnati are having a tough time in their debut season and things could get a lot more difficult when Zlatan Ibrahimovic rocks up at the Nippert Stadium.
Cincinnati have won three and lost 11 of their 16 matches, scoring only 14 goals and conceding 33.
They have had 29 fewer shots than visiting LA Galaxy from the same amount of fixtures and 13 fewer on target.
It's four defeats in a row for the Orange & Blue and now they take on a rested Ibrahimovic, who has sat out the team's US Open Cup fixtures and last took to the field in a league match on June 2.
The veteran Swedish superstar was against playing on artificial turf at one stage, but he has since turned up for battles on the surface and will presumably be starting given he didn't play in their cup loss to Portland on Wednesday.
Ibrahimovic has 11 goals in 12 appearances this season and should take advantage of a home side who are on a four-match MLS losing sequence and are weakened by the absences of captain Kendall Waston, Alvas Powell and Allan Cruz.
Recommendation
LA Galaxy draw no bet
1pt 4-5 general
