Ladbrokes Premiership playoff semi-final first leg
BT Sport 1, 7.45pm Tuesday

Dundee United and Falkirk could cancel each other out in the first leg of their Ladbrokes Premiership playoff semi-final.

The Tannadice side are on a roll but the Bairns have crucial experience, having reached the playoff final last year before running out of steam.

United disposed of a tired Morton side comfortably in the quarter-finals, but Falkirk are a tough nut to crack and should be well rested having not played in ten days.

Falkirk have had the better of the sides’ four meetings this season, but they may not go hell for leather in the first leg –although with in-form striker Nathan Austin, they should net.

If they can keep the likes of Tony Andreu quiet, Falkirk will be confident of completing the job on Friday.

Recommendation
Draw

Team news
Dundee United will be without defender Lewis Toshney.

Falkirk manager Peter Houston has a fully-fit squad to choose from.

Key stat
Falkirk have scored in 24 of their last 25 league outings.
