Shamrock Rovers are cantering towards the Premier Division title and the leaders should get at least a draw on their trip to Dundalk on Friday night.

Rovers have turned it on in recent weeks, claiming excellent victories over Sligo and Derry, and while Dundalk remain capable on their day, they have conceded twice as many goals as their opponents this season.

The visiting Hoops have been comfortably the best team in Ireland this year. It is a slight concern that they have lost at Dundalk already this season but they have an outstanding away record and look decent value in the draw-no-bet market.

It's a quiet weekend in the League of Ireland due to international call-ups but there is another bet worth having in Division One.

Wexford have been excellent recently, recording big-priced wins over UCD and Athlone, and could claim victory at Cork in a game which has little riding on it.
