Playoff round second legs, from 5pm Thursday

Zorya Luhansk v Espanyol 6pm

La Liga teams have a good record in the Europa League and there should be three of them in the group stage this season with Espanyol likely to join Sevilla and Getafe in Friday's draw.

Espanyol are contesting their first Europa League campaign since finishing runners-up to Sevilla in 2007 and are well placed in their playoff tie against Ukrainians Zorya Luhansk after coming from a goal down to register a 3-1 victory in the home leg.

The two-goal advantage was nothing more than Espanyol deserved after dominating the game and winning the shot count 23-6.

Playing away from home will be tougher but Espanyol have done well on their Europa League travels this summer, winning 3-1 at Stjarnan and 3-0 at Luzern, and look overpriced at odds-against.

Zorya bowed out in the playoff round at the same stage of last season's Europa League, losing 3-2 on aggregate to Leipzig, and are likely to fall short once again.

Recommendation
Espanyol

Molde v Partizan Belgrade 6pm

Norwegian highflyers Molde competed well in a 2-1 loss away to Partizan Belgrade last Thursday and look decent value to turn the tie around on home soil.

Molde have a very strong home record in the Norwegian championship, taking 23 points from a possible 27, and were impressive 3-0 winners at home to Greek side Aris Thessaloniki in the Europa League third qualifying round.

Just a 1-0 win would suffice against Partizan, who lost 1-0 away to Turkish outfit Yeni Malatyaspor on their previous Europa League road trip.

Recommendation
Molde

Ferencvaros v Suduva 7pm

Ferencvaros dominated last Thursday's 0-0 draw away to Lithuanian champions Suduva and they should have better luck in the return match in Hungary.

Failing to score an away goal was a blow for Ferencvaros, who won the first-leg shot count 19-7.

The second leg in Budapest should be even more one-sided and there is value in backing the Hungarians to be leading at half-time and full-time at odds-against.

Recommendation
Ferencvaros-Ferencvaros double result
