England may give up winning thread at solid Slovenia

England are bidding for a 15th consecutive qualifying victory when they take on Slovenia in Ljubljana but their hosts also have a proud record to uphold.

Slovenia’s 3-2 defeat to England in last June’s Euro 2016 qualifier was the only loss they have suffered in their last nine home qualifying games and they are worth backing to trouble the Three Lions.

They were four minutes away from taking a point in last year’s meeting before Wayne Rooney scored a late winner for England.
