Blackburn v Millwall
Blackburn seem to have got over their early-season inconsistencies and they can continue their charge up the Championship table by defeating Millwall at Ewood Park.
Picking up points without playing well is a handy trait for promotion-chasing teams and Blackburn did that at the weekend, winning 2-1 to home to Barnsley despite losing the shot count 23 to seven.
Rovers have been the dominant team in most of their matches and they should gain the ascendancy against Millwall, who have drawn their last five games.
The Lions were involved in a dreadful goalless draw at Birmingham on Saturday and their lack of firepower could cost them against Rovers, who have netted 27 league goals this season.
Nottingham Forest v Watford
Watford have been grinding out results without playing particularly well but they produced by far their best performance of the season to defeat Preston 4-1 at Vicarage Road on Saturday and can follow up with a victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
The Hornets have recently switched from a back three to a four-man defence, allowing them to get an extra attacker into the side, and their offensive options have increased significantly with Troy Deeney and Stipe Perica recovering from injuries.
Deeney made his first start of the season against Preston and was hugely impressive.
His hold up play brought others into the game and contributed to strong performances from Ismaila Sarr and Joao Pedro, who had more time and space to showcase their talents.
While Deeney stays fit Watford will be a tough proposition and they should be too strong for Forest, who are on a three-match losing sequence after Sunday's 1-0 defeat at home to Swansea.
Shrewsbury v Accrington
Accrington are going under the radar in the League One promotion race but they can make it eight wins in 12 league games by defeating second-bottom Shrewsbury in Shropshire.
A change of manager has brought a change of fortunes for the Shrews, who started life under Steve Cotterill on Sunday with a 1-0 extra-time success at home to Oxford City in the FA Cup second round.
However, it was a far from convincing performance against a side from three levels below and a higher standard will be needed to chalk up a second league win of the campaign.
John Coleman's Accrington have won their last three away games without conceding a goal and they look overpriced to collect another three points.
