Edinburgh City were hammered 6-1 by Inverness in the William Hill Scottish Cup on Tuesday, but they should find their trip to Annan Athletic an easier task.

The Ladbrokes League Two leaders have been a revelation this season, but they came off the rails in the Highlands against a side two divisions above them and they had held Caley Thistle to a replay.

In the league, James McDonaugh's side have won five of their six away games.

Blair Henderson's midweek consolation goal was his 20th of the season and he will look to add to that at Galabank.

Annan seem to be a better side on the road - they have triumphed in only two of their seven home league games.

And City, who signed former Manchester United, Hibs and Hearts winger Danny Galbraith this week, can clinch another vital win in Dumfriesshire.

Falkirk have been dismal this season, but they showed there may be light at the end of a tunnel and they can push on by beating relegation rivals Alloa at home.

The Bairns reached their lowest point of the season when they were dumped out of the Scottish Cup by nearby Stenhousemuir.

But they bounced back in style by winning in Inverness last weekend to become the first side in nine months to beat ICT in the league.

With on-loan Rangers striker Zak Rudden in excellent form, Ray McKinnon's side should be good enough to beat an Alloa side they have beaten on their last four encounters without even conceding a goal.

Take a chance on shock Premiership league leaders Kilmarnock escaping from Celtic with at least a draw.

Brendan Rodgers' Celtic have failed to beat Clarke's Killie on four occasions, losing two of them since he took charge at Rugby Park last year.

Killie have twice drawn under Clarke in the east end of Glasgow and their confidence couldn't be higher.

With Celtic's solid defensive partnership of Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkovic broken up because of the Belgian international's injury, the Hoops are likely to concede.

In-form Greg Stewart and company will fancy their chances of taking something and the 4-1 for the double chance is generous.
