Pep Guardiola was humbled on his latest return to Barcelona but his Manchester City side could respond well when the teams meet again at the Etihad.

The 4-0 scoreline was harsh on City, who had to play with ten men after goalkeeper Claudio Bravo’s red card on 53 minutes two weeks ago, but it is difficult to dress up a wide-margin defeat in a positive manner.
