Derry City look much too big a price against Dundalk in tonight’s televised encounter that will have a major say in where the title goes this season.

Dundalk’s inability to beat Shamrock Rovers – when they were let down by some questionable decisions by the referee – means that the title destination is in Cork’s hands. Derry are too far off the top two to be a factor but it is hard to understand why Dundalk are as short as 1-3 tonight.

Since Dundalk beat BATE in the Champions League qualifiers, they have not been convincing in the league. They lost to Galway and Bray and the only game they won by more than a goal was at home to Finn Harps.
