BT Sport 3, 7.30pm Monday

It's derby day - or at least derby night - in Dusseldorf and Fortuna can see off Duisburg much to the chagrin of the 6,000 travelling supporters.

This is a big deal for both clubs but Fortuna appear to hold the aces. The hosts have assembled a squad which is worth more money and are 11 points ahead after just eight rounds of Bundesliga 2 action, while you have to go back to 1981 for MSV's last success on Dusseldorf soil.

Fortuna have won six of their last seven matches and seem to be coping without injured former Bayern Munich goalkeeper Michael Rensing.

Replacement Raphael Wolf has played in the top flight for Werder Bremen and there is plenty of attacking threat with German Under-21 international Florian Neuhaus impressing on his loan spell from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Duisburg lack the same kind of balance with the Zebras scoring an impressive 12 goals but the promoted outfit are struggling defensively with 16 conceded in eight outings.

MSV have put in some impressive away performances with wins at Heidenheim and Arminia Bielefeld as well as a 2-2 draw at Ingolstadt but they may suffer defeat in another high-scoring encounter.

Recommendation
Fortuna Dusseldorf & over 2.5 goals
