Washington title hopefuls can see off Remi Garde's side at Audi Field

Los Angeles FC laid down a marker in the race for the MLS Cup with their 4-0 drubbing of DC United on Saturday and the Washington side's title hopes will depend on how they respond to such results.
The Black and Red went into that game unbeaten in their opening four, having dismantled Real Salt Lake and made light work of 2018 champions Atlanta in their opener.
But they were thoroughly outplayed by last season's expansion side at the weekend and nothing but maximum points will satisfy Ben Olsen against a feeble Montreal Impact team.
With the nightmare 7-1 mauling at the hands of Sporting Kansas City lingering in their minds, the Canadians put in an insipid, back-to-the-walls performance to draw 0-0 with New York City last time out.
They could struggle to set up in the same way against DC United.
The hosts will be without Wayne Rooney, who was sent off for a rash challenge against LAFC, but they have plenty of attacking weapons to pierce the Montreal rearguard.
Rumoured Man United target Luciano Acosta can pull the strings in midfield while Paul Arriola and Lucas Rodriguez have pace to burn on the flanks.
Remi Garde's men are not helped by the absence of last season's top scorer Ignacio Piatti and the gulf in class could be clear for all to see at Audi Field.
