Cristiano Ronaldo is out to 5-1 to be with Manchester United at the end of the January transfer window after claiming he feels "betrayed" by the club and does not respect current manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo made the comments in an explosive interview with Piers Morgan for TalkTV and it appears his time at Old Trafford could be over.

Asked if he felt the club's hierarchy have been trying to force him out, Ronaldo said: "Yes, not only the coach, but another two or three guys around the club. I felt betrayed."

Regarding ten Hag, he added: "I don't have respect for him because he doesn't show respect for me."

Sporting Lisbon are 7-4 favourites with Coral to be the 37-year-old's destination in the next transfer window, while Chelsea are 3-1 and Ronaldo is 5-1 to sign for any club in Major League Soccer.

The former Real Madrid star has scored only three goals in 16 matches for Manchester United this season and will be hoping he can rediscover his form at the upcoming World Cup, which begins in Qatar on Sunday.

Ronaldo's Portugal are outsiders at 14-1 to win their first ever World Cup this winter, while the forward is 16-1 to collect the Golden Boot award for the first time in his illustrious career and as big as 33-1 to win the Golden Ball, which is awarded to the player of the tournament.
