Crewe can pile more pressure on struggling Rovers

Crewe have responded to relegation from Sky Bet League One by going five matches unbeaten and they can give as a good as they get in tonight’s EFL Cup tie at Blackburn.

Two divisions separate the sides but they could be in the same division next season with Crewe pushing to go up and Blackburn bottom of the Championship.

Rovers won 2-1 at League Two Mansfield in the first round but have taken just one point from four league games and the pressure is building on manager Owen Coyle.
