Birmingham v Sheffield Wednesday

Birmingham have won three league games in a row and can maintain their progressive form with victory over injury-hit Sheffield Wednesday.

Garry Monk's men must do so without winger Jacques Maghoma, but Wednesday's problems go much deeper.

The Owls are without Joost van Aken, Marco Matias, Fernando Forestieri, Kieran Lee and Gary Hooper and their reliance on Barry Bannan and Adam Reach could become more evident.

The visitors have lost successive league games, including a 3-0 tanking at QPR in midweek, and their misery may continue.

Recommendation
Birmingham
2pts Evs general

Norwich v Brentford

Brentford are taking time to adapt to life without Dean Smith but it is too early to write off the Bees and they can make a statement with victory at in-form Norwich.

Brentford were beaten 4-3 at Preston in midweek but key defender Chris Mepham returns from suspension and that should help them to tighten up.

Neal Maupay and Ollie Watkins can cause problems for any rearguard in the division when on song and could inspire the visitors to success at Carrow Road.

Alex Tettey replaces Tom Trybull in midfield for Norwich.

Recommendation
Brentford draw no bet
1pt 11-10 general
