Europa League round of 16, first legs

Copenhagen v AjaxBT Sport 3, 6pm
Copenhagen have lost just one match in all competitions this season and should be backed to defeat Ajax at the Parken Stadium, where they are undefeated since August 2015.

Ajax are without suspended duo Davinson Sanchez and Joel Veltman, who are first-team regulars, and are unlikely to be the first visiting side to defeat Copenhagen this season.

Recommendation
Copenhagen draw no bet
1pt 8-11 Betfred

Key stat
Copenhagen have not lost any of their last 38 home matches

Olympiakos v BesiktasBT Sport 2, 8.05pm
Olympiakos are six points clear at the top of the Greek Super League and in contention for a trophy treble, but go into their eagerly-anticipated tie against Turkish league leaders Besiktas under new management after the dismissal of Paulo Bento.

A three-match losing sequence in the league led to the manager leaving and the installation of caretaker-boss Vasilis Vouzas, who can begin his tenure with a draw.

Recommendation
Draw
1pt 11-5 general

Key stat
Besiktas have lost one of their last seven away games

Schalke v Borussia MonchengladbachBT Sport ESPN, 8.05pm

Borussia Monchengladbach won 4-2 at home to Schalke in the Bundesliga on Saturday and can defeat same opposition in their first leg of their Europa League tie.

It will probably be tougher to win at the Veltins-Arena where Gladbach have lost on three of their last four visits. But Gladbach are on a four-match winning streak and looked the superior side at the weekend.

Recommendation
Borussia Monchengladbach
1pt 12-5 bet365

Key stat
Gladbach have won eight of their last ten fixtures

Lyon v RomaBT Sport 3, 8.05pm
Roma are one of the strongest teams left in the competition and can take another step towards the final by defeating Lyon in France.

The Wolves are second in Serie A - eight points behind a very strong Juventus side - and may have a little too much class and knowhow for Lyon, who are 18 points behind leaders Monaco in Le Championnat.

Recommendation
Roma
1pt 19-10 Betfair, Betfred, Boyles

Key stat
Lyon have kept two clean sheets in their last 12 fixtures
