Confident Robins are worth a bet to extend Hull slump
Progress in the EFL Cup has provided Hull with a pleasant distraction from the battle for Premier League survival but the Tigers’ Wembley hopes could disappear this evening with a defeat to high-flying Sky Bet Championship side Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Hull’s bright start to the league campaign is a distant memory and their two most recent wins have come in the EFL Cup.
They did what was expected of them by winning at League Two Exeter in the second round and performed better than anticipated in the third round in a 2-1 success at Stoke.
