Seven years after Ched Evans lit up League One with a 29-goal campaign with Sheffield United he is heading for double figures again.

Revived under Joey Barton at Fleetwood, Evans has bagged eight in 17 games and looks a worthwhile each-way consideration.

This market will almost certainly have a different feel about it by the end of January with Tom Eaves and Josh Maja coveted by clubs higher up the food chain. If some of the fast-starters leave the division it would bring someone of the calibre of Evans right into the mix.
