Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds have lost on the last two occasions when the Argentinian has announced his starting line-up in advance but they can break that curse by beating second-placed Norwich in their titanic Sky Bet Championship tussle.

Bielsa announced his team 52 hours before kick-off at Elland Road having lost to Stoke and QPR when he adopted a similar approach last month.

His 'spygate' antics appear to have chipped away at the confidence of Leeds, who lost to Nottingham Forest and Stoke either side of their FA Cup third-round exit in January, but the Whites have an impressive record against the Championship big guns this season.

Leeds have won four, drawn one and lost one of their six matches against the teams in the top six this term. That run included a 3-0 win against Norwich at Carrow Road earlier this season.

The visitors, by contrast, have a dismal record against the same set of opposition, winning one of their eight matches against them, and they could lose ground in their title pursuit at Elland Road.

With only West Brom (57) scoring more league goals this campaign than Norwich (54), Daniel Farke’s men should still fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet.

But they are a stronger unit on East Anglian soil than they are away from home and an experienced coach like Bielsa knows how to win tight tests against bigger sides.
