Tuesday football tips: Chelsea and Manchester United in Champions League action

The Champions League group stage heads past the halfway stage this evening with Chelsea and Manchester United bidding to take another step towards the knockout stages.

Thomas Tuchel's Blues are long odds-on to claim three points at Malmo while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope United do not require any more last-minute drama against Atalanta.

There is also action from the Championship, including two televised matches, as well as League One and the EFL Trophy.

Chelsea breezed past Malmo 4-0 a fortnight ago, scoring four times in the first 57 minutes against the Swedish outfit. However, with star strikers Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner both injured, the Blues should be satisfied with a narrow-margin win in the return fixture.

Our bet of the day was on the money in Portugal on Monday and on Tuesday we head to Italy. Juventus have looked off the pace at times this season and must be wary of Russian rivals Zenit. The Saint Petersburg side have thrashed Spartak Moscow 7-1 and Dynamo Moscow 4-1 in their last two league games, so both teams can get on the scoresheet in Turin.
