Choosing between Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah as Liverpool's most likely goalscorer is a difficult task but bookmakers favour the Egyptian which means the value could be in backing the Senegalese speedster to sizzle in Madrid.

Both players scored 22 goals in this season's Premier League and both scored four in the Champions League. Mane's 22 league goals came in slightly fewer minutes and he looks just as likely as Salah to open the scoring despite being a bigger price.

Mane, who has notched 13 times in his last 16 matches, could also benefit from facing arguably the weakest area of Tottenham's squad presuming Jurgen Klopp sticks with playing the former Southampton winger on the left.

Spurs have had an issue at right-back for most of the season.

Kieran Trippier has suffered post-World Cup blues, losing his spot in the England squad for the Nations League finals, and Serge Aurier's stop-start season due to injury has affected his form.

The rash Aurier is the better defender and many Tottenham fans will be hoping he gets the nod, but Mane has the measure of both and is taken to be more prolific than Salah and Roberto Firmino, who scored in both of Liverpool's league meetings with Spurs this season.

Slovenian Damir Skomina will referee the final and recent meetings between Spurs and Liverpool have lacked bookings.

The most recent clash in March saw only Lucas Moura carded and no players were booked in the reverse fixture in September.

Only the departed Emre Can was cautioned last season in Tottenham's 4-1 Wembley win, although four players entered the book in a controversial 2-2 draw that saw Spurs awarded two late penalties at Anfield.

That suggests rather than the anytime card market, it may pay to head to the first card betting. Midfield could be a battleground as both teams like to press the opposition.

Moussa Sissoko's transformation from laughing stock to linchpin in Tottenham's midfield has been one of the stories of the season even if he remains a little too enthusiastic at times.

Sissoko has been booked in three of his last five matches and will be asked to cover plenty of ground for the underdogs.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, no doubt pumped up as he bids to lift what would be a sixth European Cup for the Reds, is a feisty character despite having gone nine matches without a card.

He was sent off at Watford and has been booked in four of his six matches for England this season.
