Celtic could have asked for an easier Champions League opener than a trip to Sarajevo but Neil Lennon's side are still odds-on to head back from Bosnia with a first-leg advantage.

Sarajevo won the Bosnian league by five points last season and competed well early in their European campaign, drawing 2-2 with crack Italian outfit Atalanta before an 8-0 thrashing at home.

Celtic will be pleased to be facing a side who, like themselves, have not started their league campaign yet, which always helps at this stage of the summer.

Leigh Griffiths, who last featured in December, was on the plane to Bosnia and is 4-1 to open the scoring.

Celtic's Glasgow rivals Rangers should have things much easier for their Europa League trip to Gibraltar to take on St Joseph's.

Jamie Murphy, Graham Dorrans, Jason Holt, Joe Dodoo, Eros Grezda, Kyle Lafferty, Jon Flanagan and Daniel Candeias are among those who have not travelled.

Scott Arfield won't feature for Steven Gerrard's outfit having just returned from international duty with Canada, but hot-headed hotshot Alfredo Morelos is in the mix.

Those looking for a bet may be better heading to Lithuania to back Red Star Belgrade to beat Suduva - as they did in last season's Champions League preliminaries.

Red Star triumphed 5-0 on aggregate, winning 3-0 at home and 2-0 away, on their way to the group stage where they held Napoli to a draw and beat eventual champions Liverpool.

Suduva have lost just three times in 17 league matches this season but two of those were when they were upped in class against second-placed Zalgiris and third-placed Riteriai.

Recommendation
Red Star Belgrade -1 on Asian handicap
1pt 39-40 bet365
