Celtic look up against it on tough trip to RB Leipzig

Celtic were handed a tough group-stage draw and their chances of a top-two finish could recede with a loss to RB Leipzig in Germany.

The Scottish champions started the campaign with a 1-0 success against Rosenborg but their limitations were exposed by a 3-1 defeat away to Salzburg on matchday two.

The trip to Leipzig, the sectional top seeds, looks their toughest assignment and they go into it without three key players – suspended winger James Forrest and injured pair Scott Brown and Leigh Griffiths.

Leipzig lost 3-2 at home to Salzburg on matchday one but responded with a 3-1 success at Rosenborg, winning the shot count 23-5, and they could be just as comfortable against the Bhoys.
