Coventry still have an outside chance of making the Championship playoffs this year and forward Viktor Gyokeres has been a major factor in that. The Swede has 11 goals to his name this season and is fancied for another when his side travel to Cardiff.

The Sky Blues came from behind to beat Reading 3-2 at the weekend and have a favourable run of fixtures coming up, facing four of the bottom nine sides in their next five games.

Cardiff pulled themselves out of major trouble with three wins on the bounce before defeat at the hands of Millwall on Saturday. The Bluebirds now have a ten-point cushion over Reading one spot below them.

However, they have leaked 50 goals in 30 games this season and could be punished by Gyokeres, who has three in his last five in all competitions.

In the absence of fellow strikers Matt Godden and Martyn Waghorn, expect the 23-year-old to carry the primary Coventry goal threat.
