Match preview
Three successive defeats have seen Reading's lead at the top of the Championship shrink from six points to one and the Royals could be knocked off of their perch by a loss to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Injuries to key trio Liam Moore, Ovie Ejaria and Yakou Meite have hurt Reading, who kicked off November with successive 3-0 defeats at home to Preston and Stoke.
They looked nothing like title contenders in those matches and need to show a big improvement to cope with the fourth-placed Cherries, who have lost one of 11 league matches.
Bournemouth had to cope with the absence of several key players in the early part of the season but looked stronger before the international break with midfielder Jefferson Lerma and winger David Brooks returning to the first-team fold.
They triumphed 3-1 at Birmingham a fortnight ago and can make it back-to-back victories for only the second time this season.
Key stat
Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last six home matches
