The four biggest clubs avoided each other as the EFL quarter-final draw descended into farce.

The pre-recorded draw was revealed over one hour and 45 minutes late and it brought exciting news for Bristol City, who were rewarded with a plum tie at home to Manchester United.

Manchester City travel to Leicester, while Arsenal and Chelsea have home ties against West Ham and Bournemouth.

City are the 7-2 tournament favourites, with United and Chelsea 4-1 and Arsenal 6-1.

Bristol City have knocked out three Premier League sides (Watford, Stoke and Crystal Palace) but will have to overcome another three if they are to defy odds of 100-1 and get their hands on the trophy.

West Ham's progress to the last eight was a relief for boss Slaven Bilic, who has been pushed out to odds-against in Coral's next manager to go betting.

Sean Dyche and Marco Silva - both linked with the managerial vacancy at Everton - are second and third in the betting.

Rangers are looking for a new manager after terminating Pedro Caixinha's contract.

In a wide open betting heat, caretaker-manager Graeme Murty is the 7-1 favourite, while Aberdeen gaffer Derek McInnes is 8-1.
