Bayern Munich manager betting odds and news
Arsene Wenger odds-on favourite to replace Niko Kovac
Arsene Wenger has been backed from 6-1 to 1-2 with Paddy Power to become Bayern Munich's next permanent manager after rumours in Germany that the former Arsenal boss is the favourite for the vacancy.
Ralf Rangnick's agent appeared to rule his client out of the running, potentially leaving the door open for Wenger to replace Niko Kovac, who left Munich following Saturday's 5-1 loss at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Rumoured first-choice target Erik ten Hag, a 10-1 shot, has already said he will remain at Ajax for the remainder of this season, which could lead Bayern to select an experienced coach to see out this campaign.
Bayern have previously declared a preference for a German-speaking manager and the multilingual Wenger ticks that box.
Jose Mourinho is a 5-1 chance and Max Allegri is available at 7-1 with current caretaker Hansi Flick 14-1 to get the gig permanently.
