Back Granit to rock Burnley's resistance

Burnley have already upset the odds once this season but they will struggle to land a shock result against another of the Premier League’s elite when Arsenal visit Turf Moor today.

The Clarets were the toast of the bookmaking industry when they landed a 6-1 stunner in a 2-0 win over Liverpool in August, confounding statistical analysts with a victory despite having just 19.6 per cent possession.

As Reds boss Jurgen Klopp basically said on Monday Night Football earlier this week, in any game you can win with any amount of possession but over a sustained period it is not possible to obtain long-term results seeing little of the ball.
