A Lyndon Dykes penalty gave Scotland a 1-0 win in Austria during their World Cup qualifying group campaign last September and Steve Clarke's men look a big price to repeat the feat in Tuesday's friendly.
Motivation may well be a key factor as Austria's players could probably do without this fixture, just five days after a Gareth Bale-inspired Wales ended their World Cup hopes with a 2-1 playoff win in Cardiff.
Scotland, in contrast, still have their delayed playoff semi-final against Ukraine to look forward to and they were on the verge of a seventh straight win before an injury-time penalty earned Poland a 1-1 draw on Thursday.
The Scots have won their last three away games to nil and look a big price against an inconsistent home side who are unlikely to be at full strength.
