MLS Eastern Conference semi-final
Sky Sports Football, midnight Tuesday

Columbus Crew and New York City battled out a thrilling 2-2 draw on the final day of the regular season and the first leg of their Eastern Conference semi-final clash in Ohio should be another entertaining affair.

Both teams have scored in all seven meetings between the sides and punters could once again see attacks come to the fore despite the stakes being high.

New York City, spearheaded by prolific veteran David Villa, who has notched 22 times this season, have failed to score just twice in their 17 away games and the visitors highlighted their potency with a 3-2 win at Columbus in April.

English sensation Jack Harrison should get plenty of chances to create from his wide midfield berth and Venezuelan teenager Yangel Herrera is another excellent attacking resource.

However, Columbus are hitting form at the right time and their playoff triumph at MLS debutants Atlanta, which extended their unbeaten run to 11 games, should see them brimming with confidence.

Gregg Berhalter's troops have scored 13 goals in their last six games at the Mapfre Stadium and in the lively Ola Kamara, who opened the scoring in New York just over a week ago, they have a striker capable of breaching any MLS defence.

All four meetings between the pair in Columbus have featured at least four goals and this fiercely-contested encounter has every chance of following suit.

Recommendation
Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals
