Bayern Munich have had almost five months to stew over their failure to overcome Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-final but they may struggle to exact revenge in the Spanish capital.

Atletico are showing no signs of losing their resilient streak and are unbeaten in seven matches this season.

They came from behind to draw 1-1 with Barcelona in last Wednesday’s La Liga fixture at Camp Nou and are one of the few teams who will not fear the mighty Bavarians.
