Aston Villa 10-11 for relegation after Heung-Min Son's late winner at Villa Park

Aston Villa's hopes of Premier League survival received a cruel blow on Sunday as Heung-Min Son's injury-time goal gave Tottenham a 3-2 victory at Villa Park.

Dean Smith's side looked destined for a point after Bjorn Engels had given them a second-half lifeline but the Belgian's mistake allowed Son to claim all three points for Spurs.

Villa are one point ahead of third-bottom West Ham and the League Cup finalists are 10-11 with Betfred and Hills to make an immediate return to the Sky Bet Championship.

The Hammers have a game in hand but face a daunting trip to Manchester City on Wednesday.

The win, only Tottenham's third away league success of the season, left them a point behind fourth-placed Chelsea and Jose Mourinho's side are 5-2 with Hills to finish in the top four.

North London rivals Arsenal are 35-1 to make the top four following their 4-0 home win over Newcastle.
