Annan look a great price to see off Forfar in the first leg of the Ladbrokes League One playoff semi-final.

These two sides met on Saturday at Station Park with Annan running out comfortable 4-2 winners despite resting a number of players.

Had Forfar won they would have avoided the playoffs altogether and wrestled the League Two title away from Angus neighbours Arbroath.

But they could pay for their missed opportunity with Annan entering the playoffs in fine form.

Annan won seven out of their last eight games at their Galabank fortress, while Forfar completely collapsed on the title run-in winning just two of their last 13 games.

The 9-5 available about a home win seems very generous.

Elsewhere, Raith look should be too strong for the other sides in the Championship playoffs.

Manager John Hughes has been scathing of his players in recent weeks, but the message hit home last weekend with a battling win against Ayr United and they can stave off relegation.
