Huddersfield v Swansea

Swansea conceded an 89th-minute goal in their 2-2 draw at Birmingham on Tuesday, extending their winless sequence to four, but they are only a point outside the Championship playoff places and can sign off for the World Cup break with a victory at basement boys Huddersfield.

Their results have taken a slight downturn with three draws and one defeat in their last four, but the Swans have full confidence in their style of play and are averaging 62.8 per cent possession which is second only to leaders Burnley.

Heavy possession doesn't guarantee points but it can make life difficult for opponents.

Huddersfield will have to work hard to close down the spaces and pick and choose their moments to press. But they may be short of energy after putting in a massive shift to secure a 2-1 success at QPR on Tuesday.

The Terriers rode their luck at Loftus Road, losing the shot count 36 to 11, and cannot expect their goal to lead such a charmed life at the weekend.

Mark Fotheringham's side will be stronger in midfield with David Kasumu free from suspension but the Swansea game still looks a tough assignment.

Gillingham v Northampton

Northampton are third in League Two despite having had to contend with many injury problems and they can bolster their promotion hopes with a victory over third-bottom Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium.

Jon Brady's side were beaten 1-0 at National League Chesterfield in the FA Cup first round, but the league is their priority and they have impressed on the road, taking 15 points from eight away games.

They triumphed 3-2 at Stevenage in their last League Two away game and should fancy their chances against the Gills, who have won two of 16 league fixtures.

Gillingham have been more successful in the EFL Cup and won a third round penalty shootout at Premier League Brentford on Tuesday, having drawn 1-1 in normal time.

Neil Harris's men scored with their only shot against the Bees, but they have netted just six times in League Two and their offensive struggles could continue on Saturday.

Crawley v Barrow

Crawley bowed out of two knockout competitions in the space of four days after losing 4-1 at home to Accrington in the FA Cup and 3-1 at Burnley in the EFL Cup, and they may not get any respite when hosting highflying Barrow in League Two.

The Red Devils are four games unbeaten run in the league but they could struggle against the fourth-placed Bluebirds, who are chasing a fourth successive league win.

Salford v Wimbledon

Wimbledon extended their League Two unbeaten run to four games with a superb 2-0 success at home to Leyton Orient on Tuesday and they can round off an excellent week by avoiding defeat at playoff-chasing Salford.

The Londoners should not be too fearful of a trip to Moor Lane, where Salford have not won a league match since August.

Victor Gyokeres Coventry v QPR
at 9-2 general

Victor Gyokeres has been on target in Coventry's recent victories away to Watford and at home to Wigan and the talented Swede can break the deadlock against QPR at the CBS Arena.
