Doncaster v Leyton Orient

League Two leaders Leyton Orient encountered a bump in the road last Saturday, losing 2-1 at home to Newport, but they can show the mentality of potential champions this weekend by beating promotion rivals Doncaster.

All teams suffer setbacks but the more successful ones do not allow disappointments to linger.

The last time Orient dropped points – a 1-1 draw at Swindon – they followed up with six successive league wins.

Orient manager Richie Wellens will hope for a similar reaction and his team have every chance against injury-hit Donny, who lost 2-1 at lowly Hartlepool on Tuesday.

Donny are short of centre-backs with Joseph Olowu joining Tom Anderson on the sidelines, while experienced midfielder Tommy Rowe and winger Jon Taylor are also out of contention.

In contrast, Orient have few injury concerns and should be raring to go after a free midweek.

Wellens has admitted to facing some tough selection decisions but he should come up with a winning formula.

Barnsley v Exeter

Barnsley have been one of League One's autumn improvers, taking 13 points from five games since the start of September, and they should be too strong for mid-table Exeter at Oakwell.

Exeter are getting used to life without their former manager Matt Taylor, who left the club for Rotherham earlier this week, ending a four-year spell in the Grecians' dugout.

Coaches Kevin Nicholson and John Hill have taken temporary charge of first-team affairs and steered Exeter to a 2-1 success at home to Southampton under-21s in the Papa Johns Trophy on Tuesday.

However, the trip to Barnsley looks a much tougher assignment.

Michael Duff's Tykes were inconsistent in the early part of the season but the tide turned with a 2-0 victory at Sheffield Wednesday five weeks ago.

They approach the Exeter game on a four-game winning sequence and look a solid bet to take another three points.

Forest Green v Bolton

Bolton were well below their best when losing 1-0 at Cheltenham on Tuesday but they can make a triumphant return to Gloucestershire when they come up against Forest Green in Nailsworth.

Trotters boss Ian Evatt has one of the strongest squads in the division and should get a positive reaction from his players.

A tough task awaits third-bottom Forest Green, who may be powerless to prevent a fourth successive league defeat.

Sutton United v Tranmere

Tranmere have played as well as any League Two side in recent weeks and can chalk up a fourth successive fourth-tier victory by beating Sutton United at Gander Green Lane.

Micky Mellon's side registered 1-0 wins at Salford and Walsall on their last two road trips and they look a tough opponent for out-of-sorts Sutton, who have lost four on the bounce.

Talented Millwall attacker Zian Flemming scored an outstanding goal in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Rotherham and he looks one of the main dangers to Middlesbrough at the Den.
