Tournament preview

Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, Mensur Suljovic, Krzysztof Ratajski, Ian White, Danny Noppert, Raymond van Barneveld and Dave Chisnall are the eight players remaining after the first two days of play in the World Series of Darts Finals and, of those chuckers, Chisnall looks decent each-way value.

He has been in excellent form in recent months, reaching the finals of the Gibraltar Darts Trophy and the BoyleSports World Grand Prix.

Van Gerwen was the only man able to stop Chizzy in the double-in dust-up in Dublin so with MVG housed in the top half of the draw it seems wise to play the St Helens man each-way.

Barney is Chisnall's quarter-final opponent on Sunday afternoon and Chizzy is rated a 1-2 shot to come through that contest.

The winner of White versus Noppert will face the St Helens arrowsmith, who would be a solid favourite against Noppert and no worse than pick 'em against Diamond. Two victories would cop a place and Chisnall backers should still have plenty of hope of landing the win part of the bet too.

Suljovic and Ratajski kick off Sunday's action in the top half of the draw and the winner of that tasty tussle will play either Van Gerwen or Clayton.
