Price looks cracking value to cut off the Power in Blackpool

There is plenty of tasty darts action for punters to get stuck into with the second day of World Matchplay action.

Phil Taylor is bidding to land his 16th Matchplay title on his final visit to Blackpool but the price looks right about Gerwen Price preventing one last surge from the Power.

Price continues to impress as he moves up the rankings and it’s fair to say the Iceman has ruffled a fair few feathers as he has climbed the PDC ladder.

The Welshman certainly isn’t the type of chucker to shy away from spoiling Taylor’s party and it’s difficult to know what shape the Power’s game is in given that he didn’t play in the US Darts Masters or the PDCs in Barnsley prior to that event.

It’s 11-4 that Price cuts off the Power and he looks well worth backing at those odds.

Another man who could cause an upset is Joe Cullen. Rockstar has ample ability but has struggled to show his talent on the big stage.

That all changed when he produced an outstanding display to beat Corey Cadby at the World Championship last year.

The Bradford boy won in Barnsley earlier this month and looks primed to cause Raymond van Barneveld plenty of problems, certainly more than quotes of 13-5 suggest.

Finally, back Alan Norris at 11-8 to stun Kim Huybrechts.
Huybrechts is probably the more consistent thrower but Norris is a big-stage player who can match any opponent when he is on top form.

Apart from a run to the semis of the novelty World Cup, the Hurricane hasn’t done much on tour in recent months and Chuck can call the tune should he show up with anything near his A-game.
