Take Damon Heta from the top half and Ryan Searle from the bottom for a pair of each-way picks for this weekend's Interwetten Austrian Open in Graz.

It's the fourth European Tour event of 2022, Michael van Gerwen is the defending champion, Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson among the big-name absentees, and Heta and Searle are playing more than well enough to suggest they've got a final in them come Sunday night.

Heta threw beautifully in Germany in the third European event earlier this month, with a tournament average of around 97 en route to the semi-finals. Jonny Clayton was the Australian's big scalp before he succumbed to surprise finalist Martin Lukeman.

Tenth seed Heta, who plays either Ricky Evans or Johan Engstrom in round two, has also reached a pair of floor finals this year, winning one.

Searle is also a winner on tour this year and has reached three floor finals to confirm that he has carried his good form from 2021 into this season.

Searle opens up his campaign against either WDF worlds runner-up Thibault Tricole or old campaigner Zoran Lerchbacher.

Searle and Heta are two of just five pros averaging over 98 on the Players Championship Tour this season so are evidently throwing some tip-top tungsten.
