Qualifier Ryan Harrington couldn't live with the relentless pace of an on-form Peter Wright in their Grand Slam of Darts meeting on Sunday, but The Animal should find things easier against Wayne Warren as the group stage comes to a close.

Harrington took two legs off Wright despite getting only three darts at a double, and he should get plenty more chances against BDO journeyman Warren.

The Welshman has won just three legs in his two matches against Wright and Dutchman Danny Noppert.

UK Open champion Nathan Aspinall and three-time Lakeside hero Glen Durrant battle for a place in the knockout stages and The Asp looks the better bet.

Durrant recovered from 4-2 down to beat Martin Schindler 5-4 on Sunday after the German missed two match darts, but he is unlikely to be given any gifts by Aspinall.

The Stockport chucker hit three 180s and averaged 104.65 against Michael Smith on Sunday, but still lost 5-1. A similar performance should see him comfortably through against Duzza.
