Daryl Gurney v Gary Anderson
Defending champion Daryl Gurney has enjoyed some recent success against Gary Anderson, but his prospects in Dublin on Thursday evening aren't so rosy.

Gurney has won four and drawn one of their last six tussles, which includes an impressive 10-8 win over the eventual champion in last month's Champions League.

However, Superchin didn't get much respect from a hostile Dublin crowd in a narrow 3-2 victory over Ron Meulenkamp in the last round and the presence of the current best player in the world could see him crack.

Anderson dropped just one leg in dismissing talented Dutch youngster Jeffrey de Zwaan on Tuesday and can record another emphatic success.

Recommendation
G Anderson -1.5 sets

Michael van Gerwen v Dave Chisnall
Dave Chisnall has roared back to form after a poor showing in the Champions League and punters should expect him to play his part in a fiery quarter-final encounter with world number one Michael van Gerwen.

Chizzy was thumped 10-2 by Van Gerwen in Brighton but his confidence has been restored by routine triumphs over Max Hopp and Raymond van Barneveld in the Irish capital and his scoring prowess should see him offer some stiff resistance.

Chisnall has fired in nine maximums in his two matches and, providing he doesn't crumble under pressure, he looks a fair bet to outscore the Dutchman.

MVG, who has not lost any of their 21 meetings, should maintain his dominance. But Chizzy has no trouble locating the trebles and can provide a proper test.

Recommendations
D Chisnall more 180s
