Dave Chisnall got the better of Rob Cross at last week’s World Series Finals in Amsterdam and Chizzy can double the dose when the pair lock horns for Group E supremacy at the BoyleSports Grand Slam.

Chisnall has won all five duels with Cross this year and his latest 6-4 win in Holland, which featured five maximums, highlighted why as Voltage struggled to keep up with Chizzy’s heaving scoring.

Cross was a ready 5-2 winner against Lisa Ashton in his Grand Slam curtain-raiser but he was only five from 18 on doubles while Chisnall was more convincing in his 5-3 success over Jamie Hughes, averaging 97.19.

This meeting looks a close call but at odds-against Chisnall is worth sticking with.

The pick of today’s afternoon action sees Michael Smith renew rivalry with Nathan Aspinall in a repeat of last year’s World Championship semi-final and punters can expect some big scoring between two in-form players.
