Preview
India were rattled by South Africa's fast bowlers in Sunday's five-wicket defeat but they should bounce back against Bangladesh, who have lost ten of their 11 T20 internationals against their illustrious neighbours.
Suryakumar Yadav, with 68, was the only India player to pass 15 in a tense, low-scoring defeat against the Proteas and the form of opener KL Rahul is a particular concern.
Rahul has been dismissed for four, nine and nine in his first three innings at the T20 World Cup. He has passed 30 only once in eight T20 knocks in Australia and could fall cheaply against a Bangladesh attack led by in-form paceman Taksin Ahmed, who has eight wickets in three appearances at this tournament.
After a dramatic one-run win over Pakistan, Zimbabwe came agonisingly close to another Group 2 victory against Bangladesh on Sunday and they are 4-9 to beat the Netherlands at the Adelaide Oval.
Needing four to win off a final-ball free hit against Bangladesh, Zimbabwe's number ten Blessing Muzarabani swung and missed. But despite the narrow defeat Craig Ervine's side could take heart from another accomplished display.
The Netherlands have lost three out of three and their batters looked out of their depth against a high-class Pakistan bowling attack at the weekend, going down by six wickets after crawling to 91-9 off their 20 overs.
The Dutch may struggle against Zimbabwe's excellent new-ball quicks Richard Ngarava and Muzarabani, who took two wickets in two overs against Bangladesh and dismissed Mohammad Rizwan, number one in the ICC's T20 batting rankings, in the win over Pakistan.
Muzarabani took 3-23 against Ireland and 2-38 against the West Indies in the first group stage and he should add to his wickets tally against a weak Netherlands top order.
