Essex Eagles v Gloucestershire
TV: Sky Sports Cricket, 7pm

Essex and Gloucestershire will lock horns in Chelmsford in the Twenty20 Blast and the visitors will be looking to capitalise on an additional day's rest.

The Eagles host Gloucestershire one day after travelling to the Spitfire Ground to face Kent and their potential fatigue could play into the hands of the away side's bowlers.

Andrew Tye was limited to only six matches in this season's Indian Premier League but took 17 wickets in last year's Big Bash and has made a strong start to the Blast.

He had figures of 1-18 before Gloucestershire's opener with Glamorgan was abandoned and took 2-23 in a two-wicket win over Middlesex last time out.

The explosive performances of opener Cameron Delport give Essex's batting order a top-heavy look and, with Gloucestershire's openers perhaps best avoided, backing Tye to finish as his side's top bowler after coming on during the middle overs could be the way to go.

Recommendation
A Tye top Gloucestershire wicket-taker
