The Hundred reaches its crescendo today with both the women’s and men’s finals at Lord’s.

In the women’s final, which starts at 3pm, Southern Brave take on defending champions and familiar foes Oval Invincibles in a repeat of last year's showdown.

The Brave narrowly came through Friday's eliminator as they beat the Trent Rockets by two runs despite a late rally from Nat Sciver. They will take confidence from the pair’s meeting earlier in the season where the Brave ran out 12 run winners.

In the men’s final, which is due to start at 6.30pm, there will be a new name on the trophy as Manchester Originals face table-toppers Trent Rockets.

Perhaps fittingly the two top run-scorers in the competition will be on show as the Rockets’ Dawid Malan and the Originals’ Phil Salt will be hoping to fire their respective sides to the title.

Malan was the star of the show when these two teams met earlier in the season, hitting an unbeaten 98 as his side chased 190 with eight wickets and six balls to spare.

The explosive opening partnership of Malan and Alex Hales could be key to this final and if they get off to a quick start they will be hard to peg back.

The Originals had a strong run to the final, winning six on the spin. That has been particularly impressive as they have been without captain Jos Buttler.

However the absence of Buttler and overseas players Andre Russell and Sean Abbott may be felt here as star quality will come to the fore.

The Rockets look to have the slight edge over their rivals and can secure the second men’s Hundred title.
