T20 Blast cricket: Sunday match previews, predictions, odds & betting
Lancashire Lightning worth a bet to beat Durham
2.30pm Sunday
Lancashire have had to wait a little longer than anticipated to get their T20 Blast campaign started but their supporters’ patience should be rewarded following the visit of Durham.
The Lightning’s trip to Leicestershire on Friday was abandoned without a ball being bowled and they should be raring to go against Durham, who made hard work of dismissing a Northamptonshire outfit who are among the competition’s outsiders.
An excellent all-round performance from Australian opener D’Arcy Short inspired the Jets to a seven-run victory in their curtain-raiser but more will be required at Old Trafford.
Lancashire have a well-balanced side and they possess two of the tournament’s most dangerous batsmen in Liam Livingstone and Glenn Maxwell.
Birmingham are 8-13 to beat Leicestershire, with Hampshire 4-6 at home to Kent in Sunday's other matches.
Gloucestershire are 8-11 to beat Worcestershire in their County Championship encounter in Bristol.
